Welcome!

Here’s the info for the March 8-9 Clinic and Show in Montgomery, Alabama.
Hope to see you there!
ONE-AT -THE-TIME WITH DICK PIEPER
Dick Pieper will be be the main Clinician at our Stock Horse Event on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Southeastern Livestock Exposition in Montgomery, AL. The focus of Dick’s Clinic will be reining. The Clinic will be limited to 25 participants. The format for this part of the Clinic will be ONE-AT-THE-TIME. Each participant will have 20 minutes of individual instruction and coaching with Dick Pieper. The cost for the complete Clinic, Pleasure, Trail, Cowless Cow Work and 20 minutes with Dick Pieper is only $50.00 for ASHA members; $75 for non-members.
Those making reservations should tell the secretary when they sign up what their level of horsemanship skill is. Use a scale of 1 to 3 with 1 being: completely inexperienced; 2 being: kinda, sorta, nearly know whats going on; and 3 being; a rider with some experience who needs help. Your declaration of your level of experience will help Dick help you get started on the road to becoming better at reining.
SCOTT LONG WILL ROUND OUT THE CLINIC
To make the Clinic complete, Scott Long will conduct the Pleasure, Trail and Cowless Cow Work portions of the clinic. Anyone who does not get in the Regular Clinic (which includes 20 minutes with Dick Pieper) may participate in the Pleasure, Trail and Cowless Cow Work for only $25.00.
STOCK HORSE ORIENTATION
Each of the Stock Horse Clinics produced by ALSHA from now on will include, at the beginning of the Clinic, an orientation session. This session can take as little as 10 to 15 minutes up to not longer than an hour. At this orientation session, we will make sure that everyone who participates in one of our clinics receives information as to the show rules and regulations that we follow. We will  cover  information including, but not limited to, equipment, attire, division eligibility, patterns, obstacles, judging procedure, scoring, etc.
Anyone entered in the clinic who does not attend the Orientation Session will pay an additional $10.00 Clinic Fee.
LATE FEE!
We have never enforced the $30.00 late fee on anyone, even though some people have pushed the limit on our flexibility. However, our shows have grown to the point that it is absolutely necessary that the Show Secretary have at least one hour before the Show is scheduled to begin to get all her information organized in order to start the show on time. We will begin enforcing the late fee stipulation at the March Event. The only exception will be for lst time participants in our clinic, who decide after attending the clinic, that they wish to show. Please call your entries in to Kris Pate no later than the announced deadline. The deadline is announced on the attached flyer. Also, make sure and check in before 7:00 A.M. on the day of the show. Kris will be available all day during the clinic to check exhibitors in.
RODEO!
The SLE Championship IPRA Rodeo will be conducted at Garrett Coliseum on the nights of our Clinic and Show. Not only will your Rodeo Ticket get you admission to one of the best live Rodeos you will ever see, but also, on Friday and Saturday nights, your Rodeo Ticked is also your ticket to live entertainment after the rodeo performance. The performer on Friday night will be Colt Ford and on Saturday night the entertainer will be Clint Black. It don’t get no better than this. GET YOUR RODEO TICKETS NOW!!!
